Die Lösung ist, sich direkt von der MariaDB Website unter https://mariadb.com/kb/en/installing-mariadb-connectorj/ eine aktuelle Version des Connectors herunterzuladen und in dbeaver zu installieren. Der alte 1.5.5 muss entfernt werden.

Lösung: Das Plugin muss neu eingebunden werden, da darin noch Reste von SwitchableControllerActions vorhanden sind, die die Auflösung stören.

Es kommt mit ddev 1.19 zu dieser Fehlermeldung. Eine Lösung wurde dankenswerter Weise von Stefan in die Kommentare geschrieben.Ein Workaround wäre, temporär auf File Storage umzustellen.
